Sew four coordinating quilted placemats from this Vintage Pink Christmas cotton fabric panel. The fronts use the Santa-and-floral print twice, the candy-cane stripe print once, and the bows-and-greenery print once. The printed panel includes a removable materials and finishing instruction strip; backing, batting and binding are separate.

Cut off and save the bottom instruction strip. Layer each front with separate batting and backing, quilt, measure and square to 18 × 14 inches, then finish with separate double-fold binding.
For all four placemats, supply 1¼ yards of nondirectional backing fabric, four 22 × 18-inch pieces of low-loft batting, ⅝ yard of binding fabric, thread and usual quilting supplies. Allow at least 36 inches of usable width and 44 inches of usable length for the backing.
