Sew quilted mug rugs in the Hanukkah Lights palette of matte navy, cobalt, pale blue, soft gray and olive on white.
Each panel includes Festival Lights, Dreidel Celebration, Star and Olive, and Festival Gelt: four different coordinated motifs for a matching set.

Cut, layer and quilt each top, square to size and add separate binding. |
Cut the 10 x 7-inch top blanks, layer each with 11 x 8-inch backing and low-loft batting, quilt, then square to 9 x 6 inches before adding separate quilt binding. Keep the printed instruction strip for reference.
For all four mug rugs, supply 3/8 yard each of backing and binding cotton with at least 40 inches usable width, and four 11 x 8-inch batting pieces or a usable 32 x 11-inch piece. Cut four separate 2-1/4 x 40-inch binding strips. Add matching thread, basting supplies and basic quilting tools.
